Stiaan & Marli's Wedding

Stiaan & Marli came down for the long weekend to get married in Franschoek. They got married in a beautiful, small church in Solms Delta. We shot most of their couples session around Franschoek and at the Franschoek Country House. The reception was held at the Haute Cabrière Restuarant in Franschoek, one of my favourite restaurants (great food and wine!). Jurgen & Lande

Wow, where do I start. This was one of my favourite weddings this for year! Lande and Jurgen got married in Riebeeck Castle at Cafe Felix and what a beautiful wedding it was. Lande is also a coordinator and works for the Aleit Group. I loved the way everything was organised and set-up. They had a beautiful, moving ceremony where they worshiped with a band and exchanged personalised vows to each other. For their couple pictures we shot almost everywhere in Riebeeck Castle. From decapitated buildings to antique shops. I really had a hard time choosing the images for the blog, because of the many variety of wonderful images that we took on that day. Lande and Jurgen, you guys are a stunning couple! Keep the words that you got on that day close to your hearts and remember this beautiful day for the rest of your lives. God Bless! Here we go!

Breakaway for the Long Weekend!

Last weekend was our first long weekend we went away this year. I had to get a break from work and shooting weddings each weekend. My getaway spot that we always go to is my father beach house in Pringle Bay. It is one of my favourite spots in the world. I grew up going there every weekend with my family. It always break away to Pringle Bay when I am overworked and want to rest for a few days.


This weekend we spend time with Zani's side of the family. It was pouring with rain over the weekend and we thought by times that the wind will blow the house away. But still we had a lot of fun playing board games and watching movies. Here is a sunset pictures that I took on the Saturday. You can see False Bay and Muizenberg on the other side.

Karm & Anna

Karm and Anna got married in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Green Point and had their reception at the Protea Hotel President in Sea Point. We took some couple/bridal party shots before the wedding started in Seapoint. After the wedding we took some beautiful pictures in Cape Town along Long Street. It was a very experimental, energetic and fun experience shooting in Town at night time. This was the first time that I have experimented with video light at night. I love the results that we achieved that evening in town. Karm & Anna, it was fun dogging cars and running around at night in the city. Hope you like the images.
