Book your photographer a.s.a.p!

Book your wedding photographer as soon as you have finalised a date and a venue. Most couples leave the wedding photos a few months, even weeks before your wedding. By that time most photographers are already booked. The best time for the couples to start looking for a photographer is a year in advance. So don't disappoint yourself! If you are comfortable with a photographer and you love his style of photography, contact him to arrange the final booking arrangements.

Shane & Lucy

15 February 2008
It was a beautiful Friday afternoon at the Clouds Guesthouse outside Stellenbosch. It was raining very hard earlier the day until the it stopped and the clouds open up. The bride, Lucy, is Portuguese and the groom, Shane, is Lebanese. What a beautiful couple they make. I really loved photographing their wedding. Thanks again Shane & Lucy for making me part of your special day. I hope you love the photos. Say Hi to London for me!

Trash The Dress!

"TRASH THE DRESS" (TTD) is a new craze all around the world and some brides are allready starting to do it here. It's exactly what it sounds like. After the wedding, the bride straps on her beautiful dress for a final farewell photo to the gown she spent a fortune to wear for one day only. The photographer takes pictures of the bride in fun and artful ways. Some brides would walk into the sea, swim in lakes and do all sorts of weird things that you would normaly not do with your wedding dress.

Some might say it is bazaar and other might even like it... you decide. I am always game to try out new concepts and artistic ideas. So if you are interested, feel free to ask.
